Does this count?

Does this count as crafting something? I didn't think up the design and I didn't tattoo it on myself but it's art and new and I've got nothing else. I do have stuff actually that was done before I left for the States but I keep forgetting to post it.  And shhhh about the tattoo. My parents don't know about it.
A visit to my sister's. We went to the drive-ins (a 1st for the girls).
They went swimming with uncle Steve and aunt Jula.
And went to the fire house to visit uncle (fire fighter) Steve.
And went swimming some more. It's all about uncle Steve isn't it? While they LOVE my sister they adore him.
And then we flew home to San Diego. Boo. Did I just call San Diego my home?

The girls and you look like your'e having sooooo much fun. It's great to be around family. Plus, I think an uncle that's a firefighter is every kid's dream =)

You where in Sacramento! :( I would have loved to have seen you and the girls..I know family visits go too fast and too few. I'm glad you were able to visit your family, looks like the girls had a very fun time.

That is SOOO cool! Did it hurt on that spot? I saw one recently that was a dandelion blowing left and then the seeds turned into birds. COOL! Anyway, I really like yours and the pics of the girls are so cute! I love Ava in that last last one! Priceless!

there's a million things to say about this post! 1. it totally counts. very clever and very sweet - i love it. i'm glad i'm not the only one who can't find time in the summer to finish one proper sewing project. do you have a machine in SD or are you just taking a break? 2. i cannot believe you have a real, live firefighter in your family. my boys would lose it. 3. drive-ins! swimming! so much fun! Enjoy these moments!

Cute! Though I cringe when I say that, cause I think it looks painful.... is it artsy or craftsy? hmmmmm

Were you at the Sunrise drive-in??? Good times. Glad you had such fun with your sis and bro-in-law!

Love the sad, sad looks on the girls faces.

It's not so weird that you call SD home, it has been and could be again!

I am pretty sure I recognize the drive ins! They were so much fun! Sometimes it is fun to take a crafting break and just enjoy being 'unproductive' though I know your really busy so that's not really the case for you!
Glad you had a fun trip! I want a fire fighter uncle that sounds fun. and the last picture of Emily I can totally see what she'll look like as a teenager!
