Just because I love my blog friends...

Today is a giveaway!
The reason? I don't have one...
Want this super cute passport sleeve?
Leave a comment telling me if you like your passport picture. If you don't have a passport, then do you like your driver's license picture (I guess if you don't have a passport you wouldn't be wanting this passport sleeve. I think this would hold my kids shot records as well:))?.
My passport picture: I look like an androgynous tennis player.
My driver's license: Magda from There's Something About Mary. For some reason I look wrinkly and tan.

I will keep the comments open till Wednesday morning about 8-9am my time which would be about midnight (Tuesday night) California time. Did that make sense? I hope I calculated that right..
*passport sleeve made from this pattern.
*I will ship internationally
*I have no idea if other passports (other than American) are shaped different and would not fit in this sleeve. Measurements are approximately: 3.5" wide x 5" tall.

Mine is HI-DEEEE-OUSS. I just had it taken a few weeks ago; I had my appointment made to get the passport renewed but didn't realize it had to be taken by a photographer and not juts a photobooth, so on the same day as my appointment i had to run across town to get to the photog's, i wasn't wearing any makeup and had the most ugly old-lady sweater on (which you couldn't see in the picture but it's frail old lady look was reflecting onto my face, i'm sure). and my bangs were in my eyes, which isn't allowed, and i didn't have clips so the guy had to hairspray them out of my face, which created a slightly seventie's housewife look. Overall this was not my most attractive picture. AND it was my first ten year passport! :(

i think the only thing that can take away the pain is this adorable passport holder. Oh, and also, all passports are the same dimensions so this could work for anyone! although i don't know why i said that since it lowers my chances...

P.S. Sorry for the novel, sometimes i get excited...

That is SO cute! I want!

I have a bad passport picture. I think I may have been sick. and like Jenny said, the having to keep your hair off your face is weird and made me look like a big face....

My last drivers license, on the other hand, I am keeping forever. I wish I could find this person again to take all my photos because I look ten years younger and better than normal..... Hmm maybe it's not even me.....

I love it! I want it! I must have it! Pick me, okay?!

My passport photo is awful as is my drivers license and worst of all, my military ID! The only good one I have is a 15 year old Sam's Club card that I will cherish forever!!!

I love the fabric you used! Have you ever made an iPad cover? I need one for an iPad 2 and can't find one.

Well, I like my passport photo and I like my driver's liscense photo. I need a new one of those and am scared to death that this will be the one that sucks :) I don't really use my passport now, but would love the holder so that I can hold the kids' shot records. JennyBean

Adorable! I think the shot record book dealies would fit nicely in there.

All of my ID pictures--my passport, my driver's license, and mil ID-- are ok...not awful, but not good, either.

That is SO cute! It would be perfect for Mimi's passport. I've been looking for one for hers. (hint hint!) I'm sure you are exaggerating about your pictures...I've never seen you take a bad photo! Luckily, somehow my passport and driver's license photos turned out ok, so I'm actually happy with both.

I like mine. It is plain though. I agree that this would be perfect for shot records also!

Honestly, I can't really remember what my passport photo looks like. But I seem to remember having it taken right after going to the gym, so I'm guessing it's not too pretty. My drivers licence isn't terrible, and at least it's better than my last one when I went right after getting fillings done at the dentist, so half my face was numb!

I love the passport sleeve! I just renewed my passport, and my photo SUCKS! I actually went to the photo place thinking I looked cute that day, and when they developed the photos, I was crushed at what I really looked like. It is waaaaaaaaaaaay too up close, and I'm smiling like I'm in pain. That's what I get for thinking so highly of myself that day! Although, it isn't as bad as my military ID when I came to visit you in 2005 . . . remember that?!?
I love you!
Jules
P.S. I have to say that PearlSwirl's description of her passport photo takes the cake!

I don't love my passport photo, but I don't hate it either. Same with my drivers license. Both are just kind of run-of-the-mill. I don't plan on international travel anytime soon, but I love the idea of using it as a kids shot record holder. Especially since the fabric is soooo cute!

I don't like my passport photo, I look puffy and have hair like I just got out of bed.

I do love your blog, though. Lots of sweet and inspirational posts.
