baby scrappy x quilt

I had left over from the queen size so I made a baby one. It's backed in a white with blue polka dots.
I love this backing fabric.

I quilted it on the long arm last weekend.
And now it's washed and all puckery:O
I discovered a fabric softener I can't live without. It's called Suavitel. It's so yummy. I ran out of my Restoration Hardware fabric softener in the scent Shore. Does anyone know if they still sell fabric softener? This stuff was heaven.

Today we went downtown for Frappachinos and bagel thingies.
You all in America have it so good with your Starbucks literally on every corner. We have 4 (?) downtown (all of these are very close together) but none anywhere else! You have to go to another major city I think. When we travel, I often print out where the Starbucks are. Lately I've been thinking a lot about the U.S. and what I miss. We are trying to visit in August. Cross you fingers! It's been 4.5 years since I've been in the States. Jon has been home Twice. Only my parents have met Ava and she was only about 2 weeks old at the time.
I just remembered I have to get my license renewed...

So we're walking in this area where people are laying out and one guy has no shirt on. Jon asks me if I wanted him to take his shirt off (he was joking). I made a face and he asked if that would embarrass me. Before I could answer, Emily says, "no one wants to see your boobies daddy". I'm not kidding, she really said that. I asked Jon if she made that up herself and he said yeah and the other day she told him she could see his boobies through the shirt he was wearing. She says the funniest things. I can't even tell you some of the things she comes up with. They are not fit for some peoples ears:)

There's Ava trying to disrobe..
A historical monument in beautiful Stuttgart.

I'm almost done reading the 2nd book in the Sword of Truth series and am seriously addicted. I LOVE these books. I can't stop thinking about them during the day (I mostly read right before I go to bed). I'm listening to the 1st one on audio book:) We just watched the 1st and 2nd episode of True Blood 3rd season. If you don't already know who is playing Alcide and want to know, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0542133/look here. I know I've was wondering who it would be...

Keara is at the age where she is starting to say funny things. When she saw me nurse Elizabeth for the first time she said "Eeewwww, nasty! She is eating your boobies!"
The baby quilt is beautiful. How nice to have enough leftovers for another project.

Holy sh** that's funny what Emily said - it made me laugh out loud! Technically I've "met" Ava . . . when she was in your belly :) Can't wait for your visit!
