Eloise and Calzones

Eloise made from this pattern by Indygo Junction. Flannel is Robert Kaufman "cozy cotton".

Why are all elephants named Eloise, Ellie, Effie, etc? I know why, what I mean is, lets step outside the box and name them something else that doesn't start with an E.
Like Kitty. That's Emily's choice.

With her hair pinned back or simulating riding in a car with her head out the window.

I think she's adorable but not as cute as the one on the pattern. It's the fabric and maybe the way it was stuffed. I think I put her ears to close together too. Oh well, I know what to do next time if I make it.

Ava making Kitty trumpet her trunk.

The pattern was easy. There are two sizes and this one at 18" is the largest.

On to Calzones!!! I bet you didn't know that I LOVE pizza. Actually I think every one knows how I can eat it 2 times a day every day.
I got this calzone maker from Williams Sonoma and I love it! Of course I could have made do without an official calzone maker but I like for things to be done for me. Spelled out.

The dough I use is on my recipe page (located under header).
You have to add the garlic salt and Mrs. dash mixture (or your own mixture) or it will be blah.
I also love this cheese I never noticed before at the commissary. This means that they'll now stop carrying it...

ready to go in the oven..

and out of the oven. Yum:)

I really want to write a whitty comment, but I am too upset right now about an email I just got. I can hardly think straight. Will say...love the elephant (kitty) and the monkey (aka chunk and butterball)

The polkadot elephant!! Really brings me back to the elephant of the Misfit toys on that one xmas movie-I'm sure I've mentioned this before- I'm such a big kid...
I love the elephant though and not all elephants, like Kitty, are named w/ an E - What about Horton?? :P
Anyway- I ♥ Pizza too! I've never made my own, but what you've done w/ the calzone makes it look so simple...maybe one day I'll shop for all the ingredients and try it myself. Looks super yummy though!

Mmm... Calzones... I think I need a calzone gadget too.

Love all the elephants! And I'm with you on the names. Alliteration is cute and all, but come on! It's been done! Here's to an elephant named Kitty. ^_^

Yeah, the commissary is sneaky like that--snatching things from yhou away as soon as you love them! I get this hoarding mentality where I want to grab everything and not share! Mmmm, pizza...
