Sew Something (Rag Quilt Letters)

(I also posted this over at the store blog)

Super simple, super easy, fabric letters. Make a child's name, or a Merry Christmas banner.

These are on the wall above the hall sale fabric.

Made with quilters cotton and cotton batting.
Sewn then cut, clipped and laundered to get the rumply frayed look.

I just ordered this plate for someone who turned 2 last week. Isn't this a cool idea?? I think it still wouldn't entice Emily to eat veggies:)

Ava trying to get out..

Oh oh now I see. I just posted on the shop blog asking who made the letters. And now I see. I should have known. What a fabulous idea. I want to make some. I don't care what word. I just want to make raggedy quilt letters. They look so awesome on the picture of the shop. I am really really gonna miss the shop and all the ladies inside it. Sniff. Ok. That's enough. Ava is soooo cute! One of these days you will find nothing but the open crib and a trail of crumbs...

Ava, Ava, Ava! I can't believe she's already trying to escape. I really like the actions you did to the pictures.

The letters really did turn out sooo cool, nice job!

Oh and the plates, too funny. I love all things from that brand. If Emily is anything like you, she wont even like looking at the plates =-)

I had to run into the shop on Sunday and the letters look fantastic!!!!

I'm afraid that plate would put me off my feed for a bit....

When Ava learns to use her toes to help her scale the rails, you're in big trouble!
