Ice Cream Dress/Top

Oliver + S Ice Cream Dress/Tunic. I made a size 5 with an 8 size length. Ava's measurements are: 25" chest, 24" waist and 25" hip. She is 7 and about 45" tall. It's a perfect fit with not much room for growth. The fabric is Anna Maria Horner Voile from the Little Folks line.
This is my first time making it and I liked it a lot. Easy and so cute.
I've been in a sewing slump. I don't know what it is. The tiny apartment that's like a cave maybe or that I talk myself out of things. I spend way too much time going through my patterns and fabric trying to make a match and then can't decide. I do have stuff to show and blog though just not like I use to.

Cute!!i have a little boike left, I should make Bella a dress with it....

I hate sewing slumps. I hate when you have a sewing slump because I love the things you sew. If you can't sew for you, then sew for me!

Ava is a doll. I cannot believe she is seven

Aw, such a cutie! I am surprised it's the first time you made that top. I thought I had seen it before. It looks great!

That is SOO cute. I love that pattern and I really like the fabric you chose! Bella has a lot of this style... but I hope mom makes her some more. I am so excited to get the kids in summer clothes again. I was excited to dress them for winter but they've grown so quickly and awkwardly this winter its been a pain in the butt keeping them clothed....
I hate sewing slumps. I usually have to buy something I am really excited about and sew it right away and then move on projects that are backed up.
