Double Gauze Polka Dot

Another Ottobre Pintuck Shirt. The fabric is Japanese Double Gauze in black and beige. Not fun to work with as it frays easy and stretches.
I might have lowered the neckline too much. it's the same as the black one but it just looks lower and less flattering. In fact I'm not sure I want to wear it...I just washed it again and hopefully the parts that may have been stretched during construction went back together.

I have pictures to post from Emily's 5th birthday party and I took pictures for the t-shirt reconstruction but i now have to go through them and make a tutorial. Fun.

This top still looks great on you! You should wear it. I love the fabric! I can't wait for pics of Emily's party. I can't believe she is 5!!!!! Where has the time gone?

This is so beyond adorable! You should wear it! I don't see any weird stretchy marks and usually that type of fabric shows everything in photos. Is this the fabric you were talking about that you got for the schoolhouse tunic? It would be adorable out of this too!!

I too can't believe Emily's 5 already! So sorry we didn't make it to the party and that her gifts are late, but thank Emily for the phone call. :)
And eventhough this shirt was alittle more difficult to deal with, I think they just keep getting cuter!

Well, I am so late to the party here...... I think you should listen to everyone, well maybe except Jess cause smacking yourself hurts..... Unless you don't listen to everyone else and then, yes, smack yourself.

It's really cute.

Does it fit better after you washed it? I know it's annoying when shirts won't stay on your shoulders. I hope it went back together because it looks so great!!
