This time tomorrow..

This picture has nothing to do with anything. I just came across it today on my computer and it made me laugh again. I took it back when we lived on Robinson Barracks (from 2003-2005) from the car. Only in Europe....

This time tomorrow I will be in London with my BFF Jenny B! Maybe in this exact same spot!
These two London photos were taken when Jon and I went in 2004.

Have a good weekend! I know I will:)

I never would have thought...

Here is an embroidery project made from tracing one of EMily's drawings.
I'll hang this in my sewing room. Isnt it the cutest??

I never would have thought that I'd wear Crocs. NEVER. I think the original ones are...less than attractive. Hannah came in wearing the style below (the one with cut-outs) and I was shocked that they were Crocs.

I think these are soooooo stinkn cute!
Jenny B and I are going to London this Saturday and I needed shoes that are cute and comfortable (I sound old..). We're going to London by ourselves! No husbands or kids!

I got them on shoebuy.com and they came super fast (within a week).

I don't know what is wrong with blogger but the spell check is not working at all. It did this the last post too. So try if you, can to over look them. Some people will have a hard time keeping the typos/spelling mistakes to themselves ...but try:)

Emily sandwhich. This is what happens when you sit still for even a second.
Yes those are maternity shorts i'm wearing. They have to be the most comfortable shorts ever! I only wear them inside though:)

I like butterfly's not butterflies:)

Pegs

I covered some wooden hangy peg things in the cutest paper!

I did make a boo-boo on the bunny and robot...I pasted the paper upside down so when you go to hang it, the hole for the nail is in the wrong place (that's why in the photos they are hanging away from the wall). I'll have to find an alternative.

For boys....

The robot and the bunnies and some others more will be for sale in the store on Tuesday.

And the display at work...
look at that gorgeous green ribbon!

Just to show the different things you can hang on one..

Fabric Butterfly's

Butterfly Preserve made from this tutorial. I also posted this on the store blog:)

You could also make these butterfly's using you child's favorite clothing from when they were a baby.

I used Mod Podge instead of fabric stiffener (only because I didn't have the fabric stiffener).

Unicorns

Emily wearing her new smocked top from the Weekend Sewing Book by Heather Ross.

This dress is so easy to make and took only a half yard of fabric.

The fabric is also Heather Ross called Far Far and Away. If you've not seen this line you have to look! It's unicorns, frogs and princess and the pea. It's double gauze not a traditional quilters cotton.
Emily trying to hold onto Ava's hands.
Ava not having any of it!

Last night we went to see Coraline. It was Emily's 1st time ever seeing a movie in the theatre. She did so good and when it got scary she didn't cry (although several kids did behind and around us, poor things!) or have to pee or talk or fidget. It was perfect. She ate popcorn and shushed me when I talked:)
